Contributing to a Major Regional Connectivity Corridor

The Agra–Lucknow Expressway is a 302.222 km, six-lane access-controlled greenfield expressway, designed to be expandable to eight lanes. It connects Agra with Lucknow through several districts of Uttar Pradesh and serves as an important regional transport corridor.

RSSR’s recorded scope, undertaken in connection with Afcons Infrastructure Ltd., included highway construction activities supporting the road formation and pavement structure. Its documented work included construction from the subgrade towards subsequent road layers.

The Challenge — Maintaining Continuity Across Construction Layers

Expressway construction involves multiple interdependent activities, from preparing the subgrade to placing and compacting pavement materials. Each stage must be coordinated with the next to maintain the required levels, material consistency and construction sequence. Timely material movement and disciplined site execution are important to sustaining progress.

RSSR contributed to highway construction through subgrade preparation and supporting road-layer activities. The work required coordination between material supply, site operations and the sequence of construction activities, with execution aligned to the applicable project specifications.
