Sharda Canal Project
Supporting canal-side road development through excavation, earthwork, subgrade preparation, and pavement-layer construction.
Lucknow, U.P ▪ Canal-Side Road Infrastructure & Earthworks

Supporting Road Infrastructure Through Precise Earthwork
Supported canal-side road construction activities, contributing to road formation and the preparation of pavement layers. The recorded scope included excavation, earthwork, granular sub-base (GSB) and wet-mix macadam (WMM).
These activities form an important part of preparing a stable foundation for subsequent road construction and supporting the required pavement profile.
The Challenge — Achieving Consistent Levels and Compaction
Road formation requires careful coordination of excavation, material placement and compaction. Variations in ground levels or inconsistent preparation between layers can affect the quality of subsequent pavement works. Maintaining construction sequence and material availability is therefore essential to achieving the specified formation levels.
Coordinated Execution of Road Layers
RSSR activities covered excavation, earthwork and pavement-layer preparation. The approach centred on coordinating construction operations and preparing the subgrade and supporting layers in accordance with the applicable project requirements.
